My Favorite Things

Are you as busy as I am this time of year?

We deserve a little break.  Please join me for some tea and glimpse of some of my favorite things at this time of year, some I've found on Pinterest and some from my desk.

To get you in the mood you might want to turn on this music sung by a sweet little girl in a white dress with a blue satin sash.

Sing along if you like...

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things!

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things!

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eye lashes
Silver white winters that melt into spring
These are a few of my favorite things!

Friday - Bliss and Morning Walks

My Little Bliss List (Remembering the things that made me happy this week, because it's so easy to forget them)

I called and wished my Mom, Happy Mother's Day last Sunday.. doh!  Don't tell me I'm the only one who forgets that it's the second Sunday in May and not the first.  So, I get to do it again, this Sunday.  Bliss for her and for me.

I finished three pieces of art this week.

I discovered the absolute best cookbook ever!  My new all time favorite.  I will share it with you all... later.  Right now I want to hold it close, all to myself and savor it.

Mr B. finally has the weekend off, after working three weeks straight, with both weekends included in there spent away from home.  It's going to be nice to relax with him, watch movies and just enjoy having him here.

The weather has been gorgeous!  Cool but sunny, perfect for walking the dogs and working outside.

Here's what I've seen this week during my morning walks with the dogs:
